The reasons and preventive measures of blocking of vibrating screen

 

It is a common problem that vibrating screen will appear the phenomenon of blockage of sieve. There are many reasons that cause the blockage of sieve.The reasons are as follows:

 

1.Physical reasons: Many granules are close to separation point; the water contentof material is high; it will happen the phenomenon of static electricity.

2.Material factors: The material is fibrous; there are many flake-like material.

3.Sieve desigh: The hole shape design is unreasonable which isn’t meeting the requirements; the silk to weave sieve is too thick.

Measures to solve the blockage of sieve

1.Control the water content of material: When the water content of material is more than 5% and there is no any other methods to dry the material, it should select proper screen surface and sieve mesh; if the water content of materialis more than 8%, it should adopt dewatering screen to meet our needs.

2.Classify material: Before screening more flake-like material, what we should do is chaging the way to crush material; if the material size is small and it contains more pelitic material, we need to pay much attention to water content.
