The working efficiency of vibrating screen refers to the screening efficiency and the productivity. Hence, there are two reasons why the screening efficiency is affected when the screening machine is working.
1. The properties of the materials are the major reason why the screening efficiency of the vibrating screen is affected. For example the size composition, moisture content and the clay content of the materials. When the fines content of the materials is large in quantity, the productivity will be higher. When the moisture content of the materials is high, the screening efficiency will decrease. This problem can be settled by using large pore size screening mesh. Besides, if the clay content of the materials is high (> 8%), wet screening method can be used.
2. The productivity is affected by the surface area of screening machine. If the surface area of the screening machine is larger, the productivity will increase. Other than the productivity, the screening efficiency will be increase too.
