Methods to Enhance the Screening Efficiency

Nowadays, vibrating screen is widely used in industrial area. The main concern of the vibrating screen is the screening efficiency. This is because, the better the screening efficiency, the higher the productivity. How are we going to improve the screening efficiency of a vibrating screen? Here are some ways:
1. Increase the opening rate of the sieve plate
2. Adjust the feeding method. Most of the time, the materials that feed in are not distribute uniformly along the screen surface and hence affect the screening efficiency. By installing a distributing device at the inlet, the materials will distribute uniformly. 
3. Reduce the rate of screen batter hole. By using a sieve plate which has self-cleaning system. For example for the spring rod type screen, by using the automatic mesh cleaning device can reduce the probability of screen blocking. The screening efficiency will be improved too.
4. By adjusting the inclination of the sieving machine. The thickness of the materials can be reduced if the angle of inclination is adjusted in a proper way. 
5. Use wet sieving method. This is an effective method to enhance and improve the screening efficiency.
6. For particular vibrating screen such as circular vibrating screen, the screening efficiency can be enhanced by adjusting the weight.
7. Use dry sieving method. Strictly control the feeding water. If the water content is too high, batch screening method can be considered.
