Recently, most of manufacturers choose spiral classifier and pressure
 filter to dehydrate potash feldspar during dehydration process. But 
there are some disadvantages, spiral classifier cannot classify 
materials completely and pressure filter needs large investment. What’s 
more, if users adopt spiral classifier to deal with the separation of 
residue water during the production of potash feldspar, it will cause 
the finished materials containing too much water so that the materials 
cannot be dry heaping. It is found that if users adopt dewatering screen
 instead of spiral classifier, the water content of potash feldspar will
 be less than 15% after dewatering by dewatering screen and the 
materials can achieve dry heaping effect. Furthermore, it can increase 
recovery rate of finished products because the dewatering screen can elect fine sand which will lose caused by spiral classifier.

 
There are two applications for dewatering screen
 used in beneficiation process of potash feldspar, one is used for 
classification of potash feldspar which is processed by ball mill, 
another is used for dewatering of potash feldspar products. In the 
traditional production process, it always uses pressure filter to deal 
with this kind of materials during the dewatering process of potash 
feldspar products. But this kind of production technical has large 
energy consumption, lower working efficiency and higher water content. 
While if users adopt dewatering screen
 to deal with potash feldspar, it can improve the production efficiency 
greatly, also can reduce energy consumption and floor space.
